Fledermaus Glyndebourne 2003

This production certainly wasn’t a success!! The english media hated it! But that  doesn’t mean much as they tend to hate a lot of things…. And they hated  me of course. They hated everything!!!! The director ran away to Scotland after the opening and I remember Svante saying that it was the first time he had ever seen a production actually getting worse from the first audience rehearsal to the opening night….

Ah the sweet memories!!! It was also the warmest summer in english history – the record was set somewhere  south of London on the 10th of august. 38.5 degrees. Greta was 6 months old and learned to crawl in Lewes! She also learned to breast feed from a mother wearing a moustach.  Very confusing I am sure… 

But the production wasn’t  really that bad…. And when I saw it on Youtube I kind of liked it!!!
