The last day of recording! Stockholm Sinfonietta conducted by Alberto Hold Garrido and me have just finished the last take of Didos Lament. And we’re finally done! The first classical album ever recorded on a pop label record company!!!! To me this was as huge as it gets!
The record will be realeased in july along with a pop record produced and written by Fredrik Kempe and Anders Hansson…pas mal!! Fredrik is old friend of mine dating back to ”Staden” at Sthlm Royal Opera. Of course he wrote La Voix and won the swedish melodifestivalen for the second year running! And Anders Hansson is a legend in swedish pop music – currently no 1 on the uk dmc club hits chart with ”Realease me” by Agnes. Pretty contemporaine mes amis! So we’re spanning from Händel to the sound of Anders Hansson. At least we won’t be main stream….
